BLUETTI 16kWh RVSolar 48V Power System
BLUETTI RV5 RVSolar 48V Power System — 5,000W continuous output with long-life LiFePO4 batteries. Charge from shore, solar, or alternator and power real loads like A/C, cooking, and charging through the integrated AC/DC distribution.
Series Wiring Notes:
This kit includes multiple short and long battery cables to support a range of physical battery layouts when wiring four 12V batteries in series to create a 48V battery bank. The quantity and length combinations provided intentionally exceed the minimum required so installers can select the appropriate cables for their specific spacing, orientation, and routing needs.
Cable color does not determine electrical polarity in a series configuration. In a series battery bank, interconnect cables may be red or black depending on layout. Electrical polarity is defined by the battery terminals being connected (+ to –), not by cable color.
WARNING: Improper battery wiring can cause equipment damage, fire, serious injury, or death. Installation must follow manufacturer instructions and be performed by a qualified technician.
All the power. Half the hassle. Expert advice + after-sale support.
5,000W continuous output, LiFePO4 longevity, shore/solar/alternator charging—built for real life on the road.
The battery bank consists of four 12V LiFePO₄ batteries that will need to be wired in series, creating a 48V / 16 kWh system that serves as the core of the power platform. From this 48V foundation, the RV5 Power Hub converts and delivers 120V AC, and 12V / 24V DC through the integrated AC/DC distribution panel.
Thanks to the high output of the system, standard 120V or 12V air conditioners can be operated through the distribution panel.
However, because the battery bank itself operates at 48V, selecting a 48V air conditioner provides the highest efficiency and lowest conversion loss.
A 48V air conditioner can be wired directly to the 48V battery bank, bypassing the distribution panel entirely. This configuration:
-
Reduces current and heat buildup
-
Minimizes power conversion losses
-
Improves performance in high heat or extended off-grid scenarios
And despite bypassing the RV5 Power Hub, the Epad continues to receive data directly from the battery BMS, meaning it still displays:
-
Correct state of charge
-
Accurate remaining runtime
The only limitation is that real-time watt draw of the 48V A/C will not appear on the Epad screen, though SOC and runtime tracking remain fully accurate.
No more “one-at-a-time”
5,000 W to run A/C, microwave, coffee maker—simultaneously.
10+ years of power
LiFePO4 cells rated for 6,000+ cycles keep you rolling for the long haul.
Charge anywhere
Solar up to 1,800 W • Alternator up to 1,200 W • Shore up to 5,000 W.
